1. Scope

These terms of use apply to the free browser game How Heavy? at playhowheavy.com, operated by Vadim Bauer (provider details in the legal notice). By using the game you agree to these terms.

2. The service

How Heavy? is a free casual game for entertainment. No account is required and no payment is taken. There is no entitlement to particular features, scores, or availability: we may modify, expand, restrict, or discontinue the game at any time — your saved progress lives in your browser and may be lost when the game changes or when you clear your browser data.

3. Accuracy of weights and statistics

We research object weights carefully, but values marked as “average” are editorial estimates, and scores and statistics are for entertainment. The content of this site is not advice of any kind and must not be relied on for technical, commercial, or scientific purposes.

4. Fair play

You may not attack or overload the service, scrape it in an aggressive or automated way, bypass technical protections (such as rate limits), or manipulate scores and statistics. We may throttle or block abusive traffic and exclude manipulated results from the statistics.

5. Content and intellectual property

Game content (object data, texts, and images) created for How Heavy? is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or redistributed commercially without our prior consent. Sharing your game results — including the generated share texts and images — is expressly permitted and encouraged.

6. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body, or health, and under mandatory statutory liability rules (such as product liability law). In cases of slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of essential obligations whose fulfilment makes the proper provision of the service possible in the first place, and then only up to the foreseeable damage typical for a free service of this kind. Any further liability is excluded. As the game is provided free of charge, statutory rules on gifts and gratuitous services also limit warranty and liability.

7. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms with effect for the future, for example when the game gains new features or the legal situation changes. The current version is always available on this page; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.

8. Applicable law

German law applies. If you use the game as a consumer in another country, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of habitual residence remain unaffected. Should individual provisions of these terms be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
